Congressman Marsha Blackburn Visits the 2005 Tennessee Timber and Lumber Show held in Decatur County - April 28th 2005
During the recent 2005 Tennessee Timber and Lumber Show Congressman Marsha Blackburn stopped by to pay a visit and show her support for the Timber industry both in Decatur County and Tennessee. She spent a lot of her time visiting with the many vendors along with kids at the 4H and FFA competition tent. During the event one of the most talked about features was the guess the weight of the log contest. Marsha's guess was 8200 lbs. The actual weight was 8300 pounds. there were 7 people with a closer guess and over 1000 with a worse guess!
