Decatur County - Mayor Broadway says you can help! September 1st 2005 Here is how: We are collecting and putting together what is known as a Comfort Kit. Comfort Kit Program If you or your group would like to put together Comfort Kits as a special project or would like to donate items that go into the Comfort Kits please use the list below:
Complete Comfort Kits or various quantities of the above listed items may be dropped off at the Decatur County Civic Center. Please contact the Parks Department at (731) 847-6225 if you need us to pick up kits or items in the local Decatur County area. The following task force has been put together for the purpose of hurricane relief coordination in the county. You may contact any of these individuals for more information:

Supplies If you are a medical professional licensed in Louisiana or Mississippi seeking temporary licensure here, complete the Application for Emergency Temporary License and fax it to (615) 253-1535. You can also contact the Tennessee Department of Health at 1-800-778-4123 or (615) 532-3202. To donate medical supplies or equipment, please contact the Tennessee Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services at 1-800-778-4505 or (615) 741-6882.
