GRANT MONEY WILL BUY FIRE TRUCKS

Governor Phil Bredesen (pictured far right) awards a $300,000 CDBG Grant to Decatur County Mayor Kenneth Broadway in a special ceremony at the State Capitol on Monday.

Also Pictured are (left to right): Joe Barker, Assistant Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, Commissioner Matt Kisber, Representative Steve McDaniel, Sylvia Palmer with the Southwest Development District, and Senator Roy Herron.

Mayor Broadway said that the money will go to fund the purchase of two new fire trucks, one at Hydro Fire Department and the other at Station Three in Decaturville.
